Vata

Element: Air + Space
Air (Vayu): Movement, breath, nerve impulses, circulation
Space (Akasha): Expansion, openness, subtlety
Vata governs all movement in the body — from muscle contractions to nerve signals and mental activity.

Pitta

Element: Fire + Water
Fire (Agni): Digestion, transformation, clarity, intelligence
Water (Jala): Balances fire to prevent burning; maintains fluidity
Pitta governs digestion, metabolism, and transformation — physically and mentally.

Kapha

Element: Earth + Water
Earth (Prithvi): Structure, strength, grounding
Water (Apas): Lubrication, cohesion, nurturing
Kapha provides structure, endurance, and emotional stability.

Vata

Body Areas:
Colon: Controls elimination, prone to dryness and constipation
Ears: Perception of sound, often cold and dry
Skin: Tends to be rough, cool, dry, and thin
Bones & Joints: Cracking, light frame, brittle if imbalanced

Liver, Spleen, Gallbladder: Bile production and detox
Eyes: Sharp vision, sensitivity to light/heat
Skin: Warm, can be reddish, acne-prone when imbalanced

Chest & Lungs: Controls mucus and respiration
Joints: Lubricates for smooth movement
Stomach lining: Protects and soothes
Sinuses: Can get congested easily
Reproductive organs: Fertility and stability

Warm-hearted and quick decision-maker

Kapha

Traits:
Loyal, nurturing, and patient
Strong build, deep sleeper
Emotionally grounded, excellent memory

Anxiety, insomnia, overthinking
Forgetfulness, cold hands/feet
Dryness and constipation
Dislikes irregular schedules and cold climates
